World Port Days

The World Port Days (Wereldhavendagen) is a large, annual maritime event in Rotterdam to familiarize visitors with the port and to create a positive attitude towards the port and its surrounding maritime city. Visitors get a glimpse behind the scenes of the Port and Industrial area. Activities range from ship tours, naval activities, demonstrations, seminars, excursions, exhibitions, music and much more. As an agency located in Rotterdam we at Poet Farmer know the significance and importance of the World Port Days for the city. So we are thrilled to participate in this historic event.

The goal was to create an experience that brought the harbour to people’s homes, since the public couldn’t physically go there. We built a feed with hundreds of content pieces, constantly updated throughout the day, featuring videos, live streams, online radio, photo galleries, podcasts, articles and much, much more.
